FAQ

How can I locate my loved ones in the cemetery?

You may call or email our office. We will be glad to give you the location where you can find their grave. The website also has maps to assist you if you know the location. Staff will be happy to meet you at your convenience to help out if necessary.

What type of memorial am I allowed to use?

The type of memorial you choose depends on what type of grave you purchase and sometimes, how many. Some graves in the cemetery are relegated to flat bronze on granite markers. Others are designed for upright monuments. Even with this type of grave, you will need to purchase two to use an upright. If you want a single upright, you must agree to use a flat marker on the adjacent grave. The cemetery highly recommends that you choose a reputable memorial dealer to help you in choosing your memorial. Costly mistakes are made when people make these types of purchases online or from some other entity.

What is allowed in the cemetery?

Only items made of quality marble, granite and/or bronze are allowed in any of our cemeteries. You may place things on your loved ones’ graves, we just ask that you remember first, that we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items and second, that you keep items up on your upright memorial or in an attached vase. During mowing season, which varies depending on the weather, we will remove things that impede the care and upkeep of the grounds.

What if I no longer plan to use my burial spaces?

The cemetery does not buy back graves. You may advertise them however you’d like and at the price you choose. The cemetery only needs to be involved when you have found a buyer so that we may assist in the transfer of ownership in our records. There is a nominal bookkeeping fee.
